Mid century modern design has grown in popularity over the past seasons due to the increase in a desire for a simple and functional lifestyle. I love the style of furniture from the 60's-80's, I think it is so chic and simple. I love when a space looks minimal and can evoke comfort and elegance simultaneously. Earth/Jewel/Neutral tones have always been a go to for me when it comes to interior design. It's the perfect coexistence of bold and warm colours. My future home is going to be beautiful, here are some of my images of inspiration.
(I hope the quality uploads properly, my apologies)
Living Space
The gold detailing, arches in the wall, open space and conversation pit! I think conversation pits elevate the appearance of a room. I love arched doorways, it's a simple way to add to the quality of space. I think in a living space, or really anywhere in a home light is so important to me. Natural lighting, we all love it, it boosts our moods. Huge windows are gorgeous and I'm willing to feel like an ant under a microscope in the Summer time and freeze in the Winter time for sunshine. It's nothing artificial air won't fix!
I also think big windows are kind of scary, especially in gigantic homes in the middle of no where. It would just make me extremely paranoid. Nonetheless, I want them. I'm manifesting it.
Windows
Stained Glass
Glass stained glass is also gorgeous. I can see it being the entry point to a green house or even backyard or even replace frosted glass in a bathroom.
Bathroom
For some reason, for a bathroom, I've always imaged the use of Mosaic, Moroccan, semi Miami styled tiles in a shower. Even a simple cement tile would be nice for this space. I also love glass block walls from the 60's.
I love the metal detailing. Gold is a beautiful choice for an accent.
Bedroom
Large pieces of art *chefs kiss* I'd wanna display artists I know personally in my home or just art that holds memory and value to me.
Ratan is back and it's taking over HomeSense. I see it everywhere and I love it. I got a cute rattan laundry hamper with linen lining last year! No regrets.
Kitchen
I'd love to have a big kitchen and host dinner parties and just have space to have all my appliances. I like wooden panels but I'm not sure about it for a kitchen. The first picture gives cozy country home.

Tell me this green tile ain't it!!
Entertainment
Music room. Library Room. A must have!
